Clarity. Second chances. The promise of fresh starts.
The daisy—simple, radiant, whole—was the Art Nouveau symbol of new beginnings. In 1890s Paris, it represented purity and loyal love. It was worn by women stepping into something new, or honoring something that endured.
The French called it marguerite, after Queen Marguerite de Valois. Its radial symmetry made it a favorite for jewelry—it caught light beautifully and symbolized wholeness, completion, the courage to begin again.
When you wear these, you’re carrying that lineage. The die that pressed these daisies was cut by hand in Villemin’s Paris workshop in the 1890s. The artisans who carved it understood: sometimes the simplest symbols hold the deepest truth.
What makes these studs different:
Hand-pressed from reclaimed sterling silver using an antique French die from Villemin, Paris (1890s). Two daisies on a stem with leaves—a composition that balances delicacy and strength.
The patina finish gives them an aged, authentic quality. They feel like something you’ve always had. Something you’ll always keep.

Care:
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes. That's what "tarnish" is. The face of the earring has been processed with a protective coating to preserve the finish. To maintain the protection and the patina, avoid harsh chemicals like hairspray, gel, sunscreen. To brighten, dip in a bowl of mild soapy water and rinse. Don't soak. Dry gently with a soft cloth or paper towel. Brighten the back as needed with a silver polishing cloth. The more they are worn, the less they tarnish. To deepen the patina, wear them often—your skin’s natural oils will enhance the finish.
