Copper and Silver Vinework Moon Shield Earrings

These moon-shaped shields echo the language of belonging. Tiny vinework patterns move across the copper surface, speaking to the perspectives of self as individual and as community member. Each silver bow wire is secured with small silver balls forged on the wire ends running right through the copper, joining metal and meaning in a single move. (honestly pretty badass)

Patinated by hand and sealed in three protective layers, they carry the soft sheen of endurance. When I hold them in my hand, the vinework moon shields tell me that identity can be connection made visible.
