The frog knows both worlds. She breathes water and air, lives in mud and light, transforms from tail to legs without asking permission. She is adaptation made flesh.
Hand-pressed from reclaimed copper in a 19th century carving, this pendant carries the frog's ancient medicine: transformation, fertility, cleansing, and the courage to move between worlds. In Celtic tradition, frogs were associated with healing waters and rain magic. In Egyptian lore, the goddess Heqet—frog-headed midwife of birth—helped souls transition into new life.
The copper grounds you in the muck. The silver lifts you toward clarity. Together, they remind you that transformation isn't pretty—but it's sacred.
Comes on an 18" black leather cord (3mm). Pairs with sterling silver rolo (3mm) chain with your choice of toggle or swivel clasp. Collectors: wear your chain backwards, attach the charm to the chain’s swivel clasp or other connector, and wear with a stack or collection. Or attach to an Anchor Strand with a sterling silver pearl enhancer.
